Pricing

One credit is ₹0.20.
That is the whole price list.

Most WhatsApp platforms in India charge a monthly platform fee whether you send anything or not, then add a markup on every message on top. WABAPI charges nothing monthly. You buy credits, and credits come off only when a message actually goes out.

Credit packs

Every pack buys credits at the same ₹0.20 rate — a larger pack is a convenience, not a discount tier, so you are never penalised for starting small.

Pricing questions, answered directly

How much does a WhatsApp message cost in India?

On WABAPI one credit costs ₹0.20. A utility or authentication message costs 1 credit (₹0.20). A marketing message costs 5 credits (₹1.00). That rate already covers the Meta conversation charge — nothing is billed on top of it.

Is there a monthly fee or subscription?

No. There is no monthly fee, no setup charge, no per-user seat cost and no annual contract. You buy credits and spend them on messages. In a month where you send nothing, you pay nothing.

What is the minimum I have to spend?

The smallest top-up is ₹2,500, which is 12,500 credits. There are larger packs at ₹10,000 and ₹25,000. You are never asked to commit to a recurring amount.

Do credits expire?

Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The oldest credits are always spent first, and anything that does expire is removed automatically and shown in your ledger.

What happens if a message is not delivered?

The credits go straight back to your balance, automatically, within seconds. You are never charged for a message WhatsApp could not deliver, and every refund is visible per recipient on the campaign report.

What is the difference between a utility and a marketing message?

Meta classifies templates by intent. Utility covers order updates, reminders and alerts tied to an existing transaction. Authentication covers OTPs and verification codes. Marketing covers offers, promotions and announcements. Meta charges more for marketing, which is why it costs 5 credits instead of 1.

How do I pay?

Through Razorpay — UPI, netbanking, debit card or credit card. Credits are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed. Pricing is in rupees throughout; there is no foreign-currency conversion.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. The per-message credit cost is the entire price list. There is no platform fee, no number-hosting fee, no charge for extra users and no charge for the delivery reports or CSV exports.
